Moon's entry for the Snowdrift Jumping Festival

_{Moon cantered around the ring, she was excited. Slowly but surely she had began to enjoy her job. She liked to jump, and had an immensely powerful takeoff.
Megan knew this would be a challenge for the mare. She was used to doing high jumps- five, six feet-not these one-foot babies.
Moon approached a small cavaletti, and her stride lengthened. Dust was kicked up, her hooves pounding the ground hard. Each step dent a jolt through her body that Megan could feel. She tugged on the reins, trying to get the mare to slow down. However, Moon wanted nothing of it. She continued galloping to the small fence, and nothing Megan did would stop her, her mind was made up.
At the last stride Megan yanked on the reins, and Moon lost her balance. She leapt over the jump, legs flailing. Megan struggled to keep up with her, her distance was huge.
They made it over, but Moon began to trot. She just didn't know what to do, these smaller jumps and slower speeds did not mesh with her mind.}
